At Melanin Therapy For Women, we are dedicated to providing culturally affirming, trauma-informed therapy for adult women. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive space where women can heal, grow, and reclaim their peace. Through personalized care and evidence-based practices like EMDR, we help our clients break generational cycles, build self-compassion, and step into their fullest, most authentic selves. 

Who We Serve

At Melanin Therapy For Women, we are dedicated to providing a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive space for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIPOC) to heal and thrive. BIPOC includes, but is not limited to, Black/African American, Indigenous/Native American, Latina/Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern/North African, and Multiracial women of color.

While our focus is on the unique experiences of BIPOC women, we are committed to inclusivity and equitable mental health care. No woman will be turned away from services based on race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We are an LGBTQ+ affirming practice, creating a space where all women—cisgender, transgender, and non-binary individuals comfortable in a women-centered space—feel seen, heard, and supported on their healing journey.
